Wilderness Workshop is always one of my favorite times of the year. Hanging out with lots of fun people camping, biking, and canoeing and telling stories about years past.
Wilderness Workshop and camp are always times of heavy introspection and self evaluation for me. Being in a group of new people and seeing how they respond to you and how you respond to them and the various challenges really allows me to see myself in a new light.
One of the crazy things about Wilderness Workshop is the amount of honest and direct feedback that you give and get... we're constantly making time to give each other feedback out how we're doing in teaching topics, leading the group, and just in general... it can be emotionally draining but is a great tool for growth... I wish there was more of it in the rest of my life, people are too afraid of hurting each other feelings when, one of the things camp has taught me is that very minor changes to the way you interact with others can have a big impact.
