So, Edge.org asked 120 scientist to state one thing they believe in but can't prove. To me, there are some truly fascinating concepts.
One of my favorites:
I believe that consciousness and its contents are all that exists. Space-time, matter and fields never were the fundamental denizens of the universe but have always been, from their beginning, among the humbler contents of consciousness, dependent on it for their very being.

It's official, I'm a married man now! The wedding and honeymoon were amazing, truly awesome. So many good friends came to celebrate our wedding with us and truly made the day the best of my life... Wedding Pics
Here's a small subset of our Honeymoon Pics. Overall we took around 1500 pics/movies, 3.2 Gigs worth... it takes 2.5 hours to get through the whole show.
Fiji is Paradise. Rainforests, amazing beaches, some of the best snorkeling in the world, extremely friendly people, 378 islands, and its still quite untouched by the western world... go soon before it gets commercialized
New Zealand is truly a different world... the landscapes there are so different than anywhere else I've been... you're never far from the Ocean or mountains and they are almost always part of your view... everywhere you go there's some adventure to take part in and some amazing thing to see. 12 days wasn't nearly enough to truly take it all in. Hopefully we'll get back there soon.

Where do I go when I want in-depth, insightful, unbiased information in politics? The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. In fact, it's gotten to the point where I don't feel like I can trust anyone else. Everyone else seems biased, they follow the wrong things, they don't really analyze, and I never learn anything new... What's really shocking is it seems I'm not alone on this, the daily show is getting a lot of respect...

Went to see Super Size Me last night. Basically, it's about a guy that eats nothing but McDonald's for 30 days and the effects it has upon him.
This is one of those movies that everyone in America should see but instead, will only be seen by those that are already in the know.
I felt it was very well done. It was honest and had a nice mix of statistics, quotes from a variety of sources, and lots of entertaining scenes.
Strangely it induced in me a strong desire to go eat McDonald's while simultaneously causing me to be revolted by the idea...

This is a car advertisement from somewhere. When they finished filming, the people who made it noticed something moving along the
side of the car, like a ghostly white mist. The ad was never put on TV because the unexplained ghostly phenomenon frightened the production team out of their wits. Watch
it and about halfway look and you will see the white mist rising in front of the car then following it along the road......Spooky!

For years I've been trying to figure out this whole "bustin a sag" thing (aka by the man, "low slung pants"). To me it looks stupid, uncomfortable, and annoying as one has to constantly pull his pants up... but then today, as I was riding my bike, it finally hit me... it's Urkel's fault.
